Minnesota Vikings Courage House

Northside Child Development Center is licensed for 129 children, that provides early childhood education, preschool programming, out of school activities, school readiness, and school reinforcement for children aged six weeks through 12 years old. NCDC has been an important community presence and partner for almost 40 years, serving low-income families in the North Minneapolis neighborhood who are eligible for state-subsidized childcare. The mission of NCDC is to care for and educate children, and to help lift families out of intergenerational poverty. The program engages families with home visits, parent education nights and resources, and referrals to promote family stability. Individual family service plans are created to those families looking for additional support and respond to barriers that may interfere with parents’ efforts to work and care for their children. NCDC provides a safe, stable and nurturing environment that develops children’s resiliency needed to succeed at home, school, and in the community.
