Locke was selected by his teammates for his approach and dedication to the rehab process after suffering a left great toe dislocation on August 2023 and a throat contusion on December 2023. After sustaining the throat contusion, he traveled the next week by RV to join the team in Detroit and play against the Lions in Week 15.
A free agent signing by Denver in 2019, Locke has played in 73 total games (22 starts) and totaled 158 tackles (101 solo), four sacks (44 yds.), one interception (14 yds.), eight passes defensed and five forced fumbles. This year, he has started all 14 games played and totaled 74 tackles (50 solo), one sack (10 yds.) and two passes defended.
