Eddie Jackson

2022 Ed Block Courage Award Winner

The 2022 season was a big year for Chicago Bears FS Eddie Jackson. Jackson appeared in 12 games for the Bears, leading the team in both tackles and interceptions, while also leading the entire NFC in Free Safety Pro Bowl votes, before his season ending Lisfranc injury during a Week 12 loss to the New York Jets. Jackson’s leadership and exceptional play was relied upon very quickly following the departures of what many believed to be cornerstones of their defense when 2020 Courage Award recipient Roquan Smith and Robert Quinn got traded to Baltimore and Miami respectively.
