Donte Jackson was drafted by the Carolina Panthers in the second round of the 2018 Draft (55th overall). He played in nine games in 2022 before being placed on the injured reserve due to a torn achilles. He worked diligently all off-season to come back even stronger in the 2023 season where he tallied 49 solo tackles and 59 total tackles. He totals 14 interceptions in his career, tying for the second-most among all players from his draft class and fifth-most in Panthers history. He is a strong, uplifting voice that can always be heard throughout the building. Even throughout his injury, he remained a steadfast leader to his teammates, on and off the field and continues to be a crucial building block of the team.
