Green Bay Packers - 2024 PFATS Athletic Trainers of the Year
The Ed Block Courage Award for PFATS Staff of the Year is chosen by the members of the Professional Football Athletic Training Society (PFATS) to honor an athletic training staff that displays remarkable effort for contributions to their NFL Club, the NFL Community, and the profession of athletic training.
This year the PFATS Staff of the Year, the Green Bay Packers, is a direct reflection of these qualities. In addition to their contributions to their club, the Packers are well represented and contributors across many different areas of PFATS. Green Bay Athletic Training staff members are on the Executive Committee, EMR Work Groups, Internal Education, External Education, Communications and Social Media coordination. The Packers also have leadership and contributory roles on NFL Task Forces which affects the overall health and safety of NFL players. In the community, the Packers Athletic Training staff helps to have a positive impact in areas such as Type 1 Diabetes and Cancer research. The profession of athletic training is influenced by the Packers through their involvement with student and peer education and awareness and education in areas of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
PFATS is honored to be represented by the Green Bay Packers, this year’s recipient of the Ed Block Courage Award PFATS Staff of the Year.
