During his second season with the Rams, DB Jordan Fuller was sidelined by an ankle injury for the rest of 2021 season. His ankle required surgery which prevented him from participating in the upcoming NFL playoffs. Following the Super Bowl, Fuller continued rehab on his ankle until he underwent a knee surgery to address a lingering patella tendon issue in March of 2022. He spent countless hours under the care of the Rams athletic training staff rehabbing both injuries. During his recovery, Fuller found ways to be a motivator off the field and in the locker room while displaying perseverance. After his strenuous rehab and eventual recovery, he was cleared to play for the 2022 season and was excited to return to the field.
His teammates admired his tenacious character and his professional demeanor even after a loss, so much so, that they voted him to represent the Rams as this year’s Ed Block Courage Award recipient.
